Deception Pass State Park, Whidbey Island, WA

Synopsis
It's not hard to see why Deception Pass is the most visited state park in Washington. With it's beautiful beaches, great views into the Puget Sound, miles of hiking trails through coastal old growth forest, and close location to highly populated areas, it's a nice escape and a way to reconnect to nature.
We spent one rare sunny, dry October weekend camping at the state park to enjoy all these features.
