Billy Frank Jr Nisqually NWR,
Synopsis
Probably one of the most known places for birding in Washington, the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge has undergone a lot of transformation in the past couple of decades to remove the old dike systems and restore the Nisqually River delta. It always has been a hot bed for migrants, summer and winter birds. This refuge is utilized by birds and birders yearround.
